These blankets measure approximately 75x90cm.
Made using clothing provided by the customer & lovingly transformed into a keepsake blanket, backed with your choice of pink, blue or grey waffle fabric. Super soft!
The amount of clothing required depends on the size of the clothes and amount of pattern you desire. Made up of 30 squares, you could use up to 30 items! However, for example, a child’s first set of clothing would require a minimum of 15 items as I could use the front & back of the item to make 2 squares.
I try to use a piece of every single item sent to me to lock in all those memories. However, if I’m unable to use any items (due to thickness, stains or pattern size/placement), I will always return unused items. I even keep the remnants to give back if requested by the customer. Alternatively, I’m happy to donate unused items to our local Age Uk or “Hive” clothing bank at the school that I also work part time at. The decision is yours.
If local to Rothwell, Northants you are more than welcome to drop off and collect your items free of delivery charges. However, I also offer a postal service where you can post your items to me & then pay £3 towards postage to return them to you x
